VIP Home Maintenance is a painter and decorator covering Brighton, Hove and Sussex. I decorate homes, rented flats and HMOs inside and out, from a single room or front door to a full property between tenancies, with proper preparation and a clean, hard-wearing finish.
I’m a sole trader, so the person who quotes for the job is the person who does it. I’m not VAT registered, which keeps prices low for homeowners and landlords alike.

I work between tenancies or around tenants by arrangement, use hard-wearing trade paints that wipe clean, and use mould-resistant products in bathrooms and kitchens. You get clear quotes, photo updates and invoices you can pass straight to your client or your accounts.

Whether it’s one tired room or the outside of the house, I’ll give you an honest view of what’s needed, protect your floors and furniture, and leave each day tidy. If you’re unsure about colours or finishes, I’m happy to give a practical opinion based on the room and how it’s used.

How pricing works
Small jobs are charged by the hour. Larger jobs get a written, fixed quote after a visit, so you know the cost before work starts. There’s no VAT to add, and parking costs, where they apply, are the only extra.
